Two close friends’ lives—Nandini and Swati—take a surprising turn. The plot of the new Hindi drama television series “Maitree” centers on these two friends, whose lives appear to be entwined as a result of a terrible event. Since Maitree and Nandini seldom ever spend time apart, they dream of getting married in the same home. After their marriage, Nandini appears to have betrayed Maitree’s trust, and Maitree is devastated!

Sudhir Sharma is the producer of the Sunshine Productions-produced program. Every day at 7.30 PM, from Monday through Saturday, it will be broadcast on Zee TV. Shrenu Parikh will play the character of “Maitree,” the serial’s main protagonist. Talented actress Shrenu is most recognized for her work in “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? ‘Ishqbaaz’ and ‘Ek Baar Phir’. Bhaweeka Chaudhary will portray her best friend Nandini in the drama. Later on in the serial, she would play an antagonist. Bhaweeka gained notoriety for her portrayal of Pani Pari in “Balveer Returns.” The male lead who will be seen falling in love with Shrenu Parikh is Namish Taneja.
