Well, it’s been just a few days since the show Banni Chow Home Delivery has aired, but we can still easily predict where and how long this show is going to air. A strong-headed young yet bubbly girl crosses the path of a rich but disturbed boy.
Be it in Bollywood movies like ‘Beta’, ‘Ishwaar’ or many serials like ‘Hitler Didi’, ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’, we have witnessed such stories a zillion of times on screen. Bani is an entrepreneur running a home food delivery business, serving lip-smacking delicacies in Jodhpur. She loves to share her love and affection with everyone in town with her food. At the same time, she would never shy away from fighting fiercely against any injustice in society. What happens when she meets a boy named Yuhaan, who needs her love as well as her support to fight against an injustice done to him?
The show has started on a slow note with character development. Once major characters are introduced, the show might jump into a love and care relationship between Bani and Yuhaan. There will be many testaments for the couple; many misunderstandings created by Yuhaan’s family members; many evil plans to kill Yuhaan and Bani rescuing him each and every time; etc.
Ulka Gupa, of “Jhashi Ki Rani” fame, plays the lead as Bani and has quite well portrayed the character. She fits the bill. So far, the show has been okayish, nothing extraordinary. If the makers don’t introduce something new in the story, the show might end up being another run of the mill kind of series, which might prematurely wind up within a month or two.
Teekhi Chachi the chirpy, loud and at times obnoxious gal pal is all about being couch potato. Be it romance drama or reality shows she loves to watch every episode twice, ooh... did I forget 'Saas Bahu' melodrama ?
