Gumraah, the official remake of the Tamil sleeper hit “Thadam” starring Arun Vijay, which was also remade in Telugu as “Red” starring Ram Pothineni, follows the exact storyline of the original version.

The film begins with a chilling murder on a rainy night, and the police manage to apprehend a suspect. However, the story doesn’t end there. A twist awaits as an eerie doppelgänger of the primary suspect surfaces in the same police station during the interrogation.

The question arises:

Who is the real murderer?
Could it be one of them?
Both of them?
Or is there a third person involved?

This crime thriller takes the audience on a roller-coaster ride of twists and turns, keeping them on the edge of their seats, but only if they haven’t seen the original film.

Aditya Roy Kapoor delivers a superb and impressive performance in his dual role, doing justice to the characters. Mrunal Thakur, Ronit Roy, and Deepak Kalra also shine in their respective roles, while Vedika Pinto adds a charming touch to the movie.

The movie’s biggest strength lies in its unpredictable storyline and the gripping screenplay in the second half. Additionally, its crisp and fast-paced editing contributes to an enjoyable viewing experience.

Overall, Gumraah is a good whodunit thriller that is sure to entertain, especially if you haven’t watched the original version.

Had there been no cinema, then this SharmaJiKaLadka would have died long ago. Out of food, sex and cinema this guy would always choose Cinema even if he would die virgin due to starvation.
